UI design

Memory Assist

This project was completed for my Advanced Interaction Design class. In this mini-project, I completed goals research, sketches, a 3D persona, and iterated on mockups.

The goal of this project was to come up with an augmented reality idea that fits our interests.

 Solo Project

November 2020 – December 2020

The challenge

People who are diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease or any other memory loss disease often require the assistance of another person for daily tasks. This usually results in the patient receiving care in a care facility.

The Solution

This proposed application provides an alternative that allows the patient to stay within the comfort of their own home for longer. Memory Assist is an augmented reality concept that allows a caretaker to set labels and tasks throughout the patient’s home. In the example below, a patient is experiencing lunch tasks that are pre-set by their caregiver. This concept was designed to be worn with the new Apple Glasses.
