Gender-Exclusive Language Study

This research project was completed for my social psychology class. I conducted an online study with another student in the class. We based our experiment on another study (Stout & Dasgupta, 2011). They focused on gender-exclusive language in job descriptions and how women felt in different conditions. In our study, we wanted to know if men would feel the same if their pronouns were excluded. We created a survey using Qualtrics, analyzed our data using JASP, and presented our final results to the class. The goal of this project was to find a target article and conduct a replication and extension study virtually.

The paper is a summary of the target article that was completed individually before the research project was conducted.
